For several years I designed and led dozens of walking tours across Chicago under the Jane’s Walk moniker, which is a global festival honoring famed urbanist Jane Jacobs where, 200+ cities schedule citizen-led tours of 200+ cities world-wide in early May, around Jacobs’ birthday. traditionally timed for early May that encourages people to explore their neighborhoods, connect with their neighbors, and share stories:
