“Design a Street”

I designed this interactive, hands-on activity as part of my work for Vision Zero Chicago’s west side outreach to help kids & adults envision streets redesigned with pedestrian & cyclists safety. For it, I hand-drew dozens of streetscape elements such as light-poles, boiswales, etc. that anyone can play with to envision roads built with safety in mind!

Friends of the Parks’  State of the Parks 2018 Report

I was asked to design non-profit’s annual report & study of how Chicago’s investment in its green spaces is spread inequitably – and ways that the city can work to rectify this to provide better programming & green spaces for all Chicagoans. The findings were widely-reported, drawing much-needed attention to these disparities.

YWCA’s “Equity in Evanston” Report

I took photos of the agency’s clients and staff as well as designed an oversize folded piece as the executive summary of research summarizing the state of racial and gender equality in Evanston that doubled as a toolkit to empower readers.

Fifth City Revisited

I used research my carried to oversize graphics for a performance art installation regarding how planning & policy impacted East Garfield Park.
